Princess at Tafarn Trip just below Garnedd Tunnel with an Up train of empty slate waggons, 24 July 1946. Note the wheel flange marks on the worn rail chairs. Tom Davies is driving, with steam gushing out from leaks underneath the locomotive. Reverend Edmonds cycled up from Minffordd to capture this scene.
