Boston Lodge Works Erecting Shop, 24 July 1946. The new boiler for Prince is on the left, with the partially reassembled chassis in front of it on 3-Road. Taliesin (II) is on 2-Road looking complete, but the hidden bottom end is heavily dismantled including the power bogie. This scene would barely change for the next seven years during the closure period.
