Bleasdale No.30 Tan-y-Bwlch station from the North
View of Tan-y-Bwlch Station looking south west, photographed in August 1887. This photograph is Plate 28 in the Spooner Album. The middle road crosses Up line into the goods yard. Wooden footbridge carrying footpath over the railway, note the footpath come down from the wooden stile down onto the right hand side of the station. Station building has removable 'shutters'. Gas (?) lamps appear to be without glasses. Stationmaster, porter and two ladies posing for the photographer. Double arm semaphores on both sides of the line. In the goods yard can be seen at least one of the large bogie ballast waggons, along with other loaded mineral vehicles.
