Oakeley Quarry Gunpowder Van in the ex-LNWR transhipment yard sidings at Blaenau Ffestiniog, 30 June 1956. This vehicle has been preserved at the Bala Lake Llanuwchllyn Heritage Centre. The rake of empty slate waggons contains exclusively LNWR built vehicles. They are parked on the transshipment wharf with the sunken standard-gauge road. The terrace houses in the background are on the Llwyn y Gell Road, with Llechwedd's waste tips towering overhead.
