Title
James Spooner at Beddgelert.
James Spooner at Beddgelert, 1925. Water tank in background. FR Brown Marshalls Van No. 5 next to the locomotive uncoupled and vacuum pipes disconnected. This implies the train is terminating here, perhaps one of the additional 1925 services that only went as far as Beddgelert. Note the guard kneeling beside the van, possibly checking the brake block or wheel temperature or putting a chock in. The wooden 4-ton coal waggon on siding appears to be NWNGR built.

Looking at the Summer 1925 timetable (likely to be July based on locomotive availability), this is possibly the 01.30 arrival. It will cross a service from Dinas here (which continues to Port while this terminates) rather than the frontier working more common in the 30's.
