Track Removal Gang in the Aberglaslyn Pass just past Corlan Cutting, 13 August 1941. George Cohen, Sons & Co. Ltd with 40hp Bowframe Simplex (note that this is a different locomotive than that used on the northern section). The bogie flat waggon appears to be a Hudson underframe (ex-Toastrack bogie carriage) whilst the smaller vehicle at the rear is an ex-NWNG mineral waggon. This is the southern gang working towards Croesor Junction, the section around Pitts Head having been left in situ for use by the military, and the original Croesor Tramway being left it situ in anticipation of the slate quarries reopening after the war.
