Track removal gang at Tryfan Junction, Autumn 1941. George Cohen, Sons & Co. Ltd with 40hp Simplex locomotive. The bogie flat with the loaded sleepers is the frame from one of the early NWNG Ashbury Brake Composites. The rail bolsters are ex-NWNG waggons. The train appears to have come from Bryngwyn. This is the northern gang working towards Dinas, the section around Pitts Head having been left in situ for use by the military.
