Derelict waggons in Boston Lodge Top Yard, 15 September 1949. These include slates, some of them wooden, and 4-ton coal (open goods) waggon No. 99. The flat waggon on the right carries an unusual type of axle box, identifying the chassis as one of the Iron Horse Dandy waggons, possibly No. 41. Note the turntable. Palmerston is visible in the background beside the Blacksmiths Shop. The main Works is to the right.
