Double Fairlies under overhaul in Boston Lodge Erecting Shop, 5 June 1930. Merddin Emrys is on 3-Road (in the process of being stripped down) with Livingston Thompson's boiler (returned from Avonside) and power bogie (one of Merddin's originals) on 2-Road. Upon resturn to service the following year it would receive the name Taliesin (II).
