James Spooner at Porthmadog Harbour Station at the turn of the century. The locomotive is on the level crossing at bottom of station. Monograms on cab upper sheets. Locomotive vacuum fitted. The driver second from right is Morris Davies. The man stood alone on the right may be painter Harry Griffiths. The locomotive has a later form of lining and full smokebox handrails, which dated the scene between 1898 and 1903.
