Date
28/06/1956
The Simplex Mary Ann and Bogie Van No. 2 above Rhiw Goch Farm Crossing, 26 June 1956. This was an excursion organised by H.C. Casserley for the Stephenson Loco Society as a 'last trip' on the closed section of the railway. They went as far as the long tunnel. There are seventeen people on the ground, and several more visible on the train, so the journey must have been extremely friendly for those crammed into the van and indeed on the petrol locomotive.
