Blaenau Ffestiniog LMS Exchange Station and ex-LNWR transhipment yard, 1954. The scrap in the foreground is not slate waggons, but does seem to include motor vehicle (lorry) parts. The rear of Stesion Fain is visible to the left on the far side of North Western Road. Amongst the huge numbers of slate waggons on the narrow gauge lines can be glimpsed a gunpowder van and Feldbahn bogie waggons.
