Title
Boston Lodge Works from Glan y Mor Yard.
Boston Lodge Works from Glan y Mor Yard, 1948. To the left of the carriage sheds are Covered Goods Van No. 155 (fitted with sliding side door) and a smaller wooden van beside. It clearly used to be a large open 4-ton waggon. However unlike other conversions, it has not had its sides raised but has had a high arc roof added by fitting angle iron hoops covered with plain galvanised sheets. Referred to as non-extended hinged end door van. An iron 3-ton coal waggon and covered goods van No. 1 (mk3 quarrymen's conversion with sliding doors) can also be glimpsed through the undergrowth. Iron 2-ton coal waggon No. 18 is closest to the shed doors.

The buildings from left to right are; Long Shed, Oil Store, Erecting Shop, Machine Shop, Iron Foundry, Blacksmiths Shop, with Glan y Mor carriage sheds in the foreground.
