Boston Lodge Bottom Yard, 24 August 1954. Moel Tryfan's rear bunker and frames occupy the right angled track running from the waggon turntable on 3-Road. The waggon turntable giving access to 1-Road from this track is hidden in the gorse foliage, whilst the other turntable closest to the works doors can just be glimpsed to the left of lamp post. This connected 1-Road to the other longer right angled track that ran onto the waggon turntable outside Glan y Mor carriage sheds, running behind the Long Shed in the process. Both of these sections of yard railway were laid underneath 2-Road, which in turn was laid with removal sections that could be taken out when the right angled tracks were needed. Brown Marshalls bogie carriage No. 15 is on 2-Road to the right of the photographer.
