The main entrance to Boston Lodge Works, 17 July 1956. The catch point visible in the foreground is set for the mainline. The gates, pillars and fence all stand intact. Slate waggons block the road into Glan y Mor Yard alongside the Long Shed. The stone archway visible on the far left is for the railway connection into the Top Yard. Note the super elevation and guard rail on Boston Lodge Curve. The 21st century built carriage sheds have since come to dominate this area.
