Porthmadog Harbour & Britannia Bridge circa 1911. The Small England locomotive on the bridge is probably Prince on Bottom Shunter duties. The wharves are packed with slate and waggons, and South Snowdon Wharf is still in use for ship building. The port paddle tug (Wave of Life) can be seen moored up on the left at Greaves Wharf alongside the ubiquitous schooners. Note the derelict hulk lower centre and the smaller boats moored up in the inner harbour (Llyn Bach).
