Title
Prince shunting at Porthmadog Harbour Station.
Prince shunting goods stock at Porthmadog Harbour Station, July 1930. The rain strip is missing from the cab right hand side, as is the rear left spectacle plate. Note the Fairlie-type wrap-around smokebox handrail. The Edwardian lined livery is still evident, albeit faded. The wooden framed type tender (ex-Little Giant/Welsh Pony) shows signs of damage around about where the coal bunker intersects with the side plate. The FR built gunpowder van coupled to the locomotive has no visible lettering, but is of similar construction to No. 152, and is painted in a bright colour, possibly blue. The train is stood on the goods shed sidings with Custom House visible in the background.
