Taliesin (II) passing Pen Cob, circa 1935. Boston Lodge in the background, note the crane and mk3 quarrymen's carriages in Glan y Mor Yard (both of the carriage sheds are also visible). The GPO telegraph poles and mechanical draincocks on the locomotive date the scene. Bogie Van No. 2 is in yellow livery, followed by a Bowsider (No. 17 or 18), Ashbury No. 22, ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriage No. 23, and two Small Birmingham 4-wheelers. The fireman looks to be Tom Davies.
