Moel Tryfan inside Boston Lodge Engine Shed, 9 August 1935. The locomotive had been withdrawn from service a few weeks previously, and has been left on the tin shed road awaiting dismantling for boiler repairs that would never see completion. It will never steam again. Note the ashing out piles on the floor, and the wooden 2-ton coal waggon in attendance for fuelling locomotives lighting up and coming off shed.
