Quarry Hunslet Britomart arriving at Boston Lodge, 5 June 1965. Evan Davies on Merddin Emrys, which has towed the newly bought locomotive over from Porthmadog Harbour Station following delivery from Pen yr Orsedd quarry, where it had been unloaded on the Welsh Highland stub. The bogie waggon is ex-Smiths Bocoal No. 63.
Owner Tom Baskcomb on left, owner Anthony Massau on Britomart, Peter Westray on right. Owner Roger Goss on Moelwyn. Owner Bob Harris changing points at Pen Cob. The cab and chimney had been collected from the quarry the previous week by owner Steve Coulson (who probably took the photo) in Uncle Frankie's lorry. Frankie Wallington was a Porthmadog character and was a relation, by marriage, to Dave and Tom Baskcomb.
