Moelwyn and Prince at Boston Lodge Works, 1959. This busy scene in the Bottom Yard shows the firewood collection and Old Company iron and wooden coal waggons in use for fuelling locomotives on the newly built outside inspection pit. Ashbury bogie carriage No. 22 is on 2-Road, whilst behind it inside the Erecting Shop, Merddin Emrys can be glimpsed undergoing its rebuild. Its old cab and new tanks are parked on 1-Road.
