James Spooner passing Market Hall circa 1926, Blaenau Ffestiniog. Note the greedy board atop the coal bunker and the prodigious steam leaks (possibly from the bogie ball joint). In the foreground is the junction for the timber yard branch line. The North Western Hotel can be glimpsed top right. The branch underneath North Western Road into the ex-LNWR Exchange Yard is hidden by steam (the points for this junction are underneath the locomotive).
