View of Glan-y-Pwll triangle from footbridge 4 at Groesffordd, photographed in August 1887. Little Giant is top shunter. This photograph is Plate 34 in the Spooner Album. Little Giant centre with train of goods stock including 3-ton iron slate wagons, covered goods van, gunpowder van, open high sided goods, lowsided goods wagons, coal wagon, 2 ton-slate and bogie bolsters with large timber load all on East line to Duffws. Rotating ground signal in foreground in junction also line to Nidd-y-Gigfran from quarry left. Dinas Station and Pont Goch (Oakeley viaduct) visible in distance. Glan-y-Pwll signal box and semaphore signals right middle distance.
