File metadata
Porthmadog as seen from Ynys Tywyn with the Glaslyn channel between the harbour and Llyn Bach in the foreground, possibly around 1900. The shed in this view is shown on maps over a wide time period marked as a smithy, perhaps part of Glaslyn Foundry. The original course of the Croesor Tramway passed more or less through or behind the site of the shed before it was relocated to link up with the FR harbour wharf lines. The Town Hall's much-missed clocktower is prominent in the town centre. Moel y Gest incline is visible on the hillside in the distance.
