Fordson Muir Hill tractor at Blaenau Ffestiniog shunting slate into GWR Yard, 21 June 1956. Taken from the Dorfil Road bridge looking east before it was raised and pedestrianised. The Muir Hill lived in a little shed under Queen's Bridge.

Note the GWR locomotive in the distance opposite the goods shed. It appears to be a tender locomotive, either a Dean or Collett Goods 0-6-0. Unusual for the Bala line, which usually used pannier tanks.
