Prince at Stesion Fain with an empty goods train, 29 July 1924. Five wooden (first and rear vehicles being 4-ton examples) and one iron 2-ton coal waggon make up the rake. The second vehicle has inside bearings. The old mineral line has been partially lifted pending the installation of the new junction and water tank. The station sign reads 'change here for Betws y Coed & Llandudno'. Note the brakesman in the rear waggon.
