Welsh Pony at Porthmadog Harbour Station.

Welsh Pony at Porthmadog Harbour Station with a short passenger train. Brown Marshalls Van No. 4 at the rear together with three Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages, including both semi-open types. The first is one of the porthole carriages (No. 11 or 12) followed by Nos 2 & 3. The locomotive has thin tyres, water filler cover in place still, tilted dome, no lining or panelling and no lining on tender. Photograph probably taken in 1931 or early 1932. Note that the station end roof beams and drainpipe are yet to be be repainted white.
