'Following your phone call I enclose prints of the two NWNGR wagons from the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Co albums held by Gloucester Records Office. The only information I have on these wagons is that given on the boards attached to the wagons. However, the photos are immediately before those of the two Cleminson coaches. Boyd refers to the slate wagon as being to order 248. This is the photo number, not the order number. Later phots in the album give the order numbers as well, but not these ones.
