Princess outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed.

Princess outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed circa 1939 - 1940. Note the distinctive cabside plate modified to mark the most recent overhaul, and the lamp bracket on the rear of the tender, which is contemporary to the type fitted to the double engines towards the end of passenger services. In the background the Cob is in a state of disrepair. It would be rebuilt (and have a wave wall added) by some time in 1940.
