Boston Lodge Engine Shed circa 1903. Taliesin (I), Prince, Merddin Emrys and staff on shed preparing for the day ahead. Livingston Thompson can be glimpsed lurking inside the shed on the right. Tin shed over full length of third road. Vacuum fitted to Taliesin post 1900 rebuild. The figure fourth from left is future Locomotive Superintendent Robert Williams (then a Fitter). Next to him on the left is Hugh Hughes (Fitter and later Foreman). Nearest to the camera is William John Pierce (then a Fireman). Note the disc signal and smoke ventilators.
