Palmerston out of use in the Top Yard, Boston Lodge Works, 24 July 1946. Having been emplaced to power the steam hammer inside the Blacksmiths Shop, by this date the locomotive was becoming derelict and parts have already been robbed. Note the dome cover on the roof.
