Merddin Emrys inside Boston Lodge Engine Shed, 3 June 1932. The locomotive is standing out of use awaiting heavy repair. The bogies are still fitted with LT's original wheelsets. The buffer is missing and there is what appears to be a blast pipe under the top end bogie, although this might be from an England locomotive. The locomotive is fitted with the acetylene lamp. Oil can on front apron.
Note the damaged wooden framed England tender behind the locomotive. This is probably the wooden framed tender that was damaged when Welsh Pony collided with an old boiler in the engine shed. In the background is the partition between the running shed and the old workshop.
