Title
Merddin Emrys approaching Pen Cob with an Up train.
Merddin Emrys approaching Pen Cob with an Up train circa 1928. The short passenger train comprises Small Birmingham 4-wheelers Nos 11 & 12 (the porthole carriages), Bowsider bogie carriage No. 17 or 18, and Bogie Van No. 2.

Note the two wires for operating the disc signal approaching Boston Lodge Junction from the Cob. The wires look very slack beyond the pulley, indicating that this is after the signalling was taken out of commission after the granting of a Light Railway Order.
