Derelict Hudson Toastrack bogie carriages Nos 37 & 42 outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed, August 1955. These carriages had spent the closure period parked up by the Halt.

In the preservation era these vehicles became FR flat waggons Nos 66 & 64 respectively. No. 66 was used as the camera platform for a BBC TV live Outside Broadcast, and then rebuilt as semi-open tourist carriage No. 38. No. 64 became one of the fuel tankers, before eventually being restored to original Toastrack carriage condition for use on the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway.
