Title
The remains of Ashbury No. 21 in Glan y Mor Yard.
The remains of Ashbury bogie carriage No. 21 in Glan y Mor Yard circa 1960. This carriage was stored outside in the main yard well in advance of the line's closure, and was in such a poor state by the time the preservationists arrived that, having been stripped of its useful parts, it was eventually disposed of. The Peckett locomotive can be seen on the left. Inscription on the rear of Peckett was 'bogus'! The former carriage shed has been almost totally demolished, the only trace being the rail crossings which allowed the two shed roads to cross over the right-angle track that went behind the works to access the Joiners Shop. The front-left corner of the remaining carriage shed can be glimpsed to the left.
