File metadata
Prince with a Down train on Boston Lodge Curve, 1962. The train consists of brake vans Nos 1 & 2, mk3 quarrymen's carriage No. 8, Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages Nos 3, 4, 5, & 6 (formerly 2), and Ashbury No. 22. It is likely that the rear carriages (including the one the photographer is riding in) are ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriages Nos 23 & 26.
The double decker bus is an early Crosville LD-type Bristol Lodekka with Eastern Coachworks bodywork dating from the mid-fifties (Crosville Motor Services Pwllheli to Blaenau service).
Note the old archway in the wall which formerly provided access to the farm road.
