Glan y Mor Yard, September 1973. On the siding next to the engine shed are the Peckett, Welsh Pony, and the Stefcomatic (yet to be converted from standard-gauge). Alongside these are Bogie Van No. 2 (under the tarpaulin held down by old rail chairs) and pioneer Garratt K1.
Behind the Stefcomatic is a Diesel compressor (ex-roadworks unit on a slate waggon chassis.) Further back is the Penrhyn end-tipper 'slave' waggon. The metal sheet bender may also be there (again based on a slate waggon chassis) with a granite waggon (converted from 3-ton slate), wooden 4-ton coal waggon No. 164, and gunpowder van No. 152.
On the siding immediately to the left of K1 is 3-ton slate No. 155 fitted with a square fuel tank, ex-Hudson Toastrack weed-killing waggon No. 67 (the left-hand tank is from the pre-war weed-killer waggon), Mobile Power Unit E1 (a second-hand generator on a converted 3-ton slate No. 142, and another MPU (air or electric) on another converted 3-ton slate.
On the siding closest to the shore line are two of the iron Croesor Tramway waggons and wooden coal waggon No. 162 (historic number 19). The object under the tarpaulin in the 3-ton slate is a piston ring grinding and peening machine that was obtained from BR.
