Title
Prince on the Porthmadog link line.
Prince with wharf waggon on the Porthmadog link line circa 1930 (indicated by the rivets in the smokebox door and saddle tank). The tank filler lid appears to be missing. The unusual vehicle behind is a wharf waggon used for moving dressed slates from stack to ship.

The row of three tall houses in the background are most likely 60-62 Snowdon Street. This places the train at almost exactly halfway round the back of the 21st century carpark, at its closest approach to Llyn Bach.

This could be a return working to the wharves from Beddgelert Siding, or perhaps a building being re-roofed near the line. It could also be returning from the Festiniog & Portmadoc Slate Works situated on the old Gorsedda line. The driver could be Tom Davies.
