Trident Home Signal on the Cob, looking to Porthmadog Harbour Station, 8 August 1935. Taliesin (II) is in the platform road with its train awaiting departure time. Empty slate waggons are ready to be attached to the rear. The large 4-ton wooden coal waggon parked outside the goods shed (possibly for refuelling locomotives) is very probably No. 98 (photographed up close the same day).
