File metadata
Boston Lodge Engine Shed from the Sand Pit circa 1958. One of John Halsall's views. Doors already deteriorating. The covered goods van is No. 101 (since renumbered as No. 154).
Comment on paper with photo - 'I'm not sure whether the wagons hold bits of Pill box, Boston Lodge gate pillar or even the Top Yard wall (between Plas Smart and Cottages Nos 1 & 2). Tin roof - yuk. Slate roof - Expensive yes please!'
