Carriage No. 12 (Brown Marshalls Van No. 5) in Boston Lodge Bottom Yard, February 1963. The end is removed for the adding of an extra compartment and the fitting of a lengthened underframe. The carriage is sat upon London Transport Jarrah Sleepers, note the tapered ends. Moelwyn is shunting the ex-Hudson Toastrack underframe around the yard, seen here on 1-Road siding. Granite waggons (converted from 3-ton slate) loaded with locomotive coal visible to the left. The Wickham Trolley can be seen out on the Works curve near the ground frame.
