Boston Lodge Top Yard.

Boston Lodge Top Yard, circa September 1955. The waggon repair shop is in an advanced state of disrepair. Wooden slate waggons are being broken up and burnt on site, along with the remains of double balcony brake van No. 7, and what looks like the remains of a mk3 quarrymen's carriage (note the vacuum cylinder within the wooden frame). Curly Roofed Van No. 3 is parked up on the left beyond the turntable outside Plas Smart. The corrugated buildings seen here are the Blacksmiths Shop Extension and (right back against the rockface in the far corner) the Joiners Shop.
