File metadata
Princess at Minffordd Weighbridge Crossing, 24 July 1946. Brothers Will and Tom Davies are the rostered crew. Tom eases the locomotive away from the Down slate train as Will prepares to oil round with his can. Features of note include the cobbles on the crossing, and the waggons stored on the mainline in the distance. The slate trains that ran during the final years terminated at Minffordd Yard, there being no need for them to go down to the port.
