George England contract drawing agreed and signed by C M Holland on 4/3/1863. An amazing survivor. the folds in the tracing paper had disintegrated and Boyd pasted it onto cardboard. The restoration team at Caernarfon Records Office painstakingly removed the drawing from the cardboard, and now it can be displayed digitally in its original orientation. The words 'Messrs England Engineer' can just be made out (in reverse) written on the back of the drawing by the chimney.
