Junction into the ex-LNWR Exchange Yard circa 1954 with the North Western Hotel alongside. The photographer is stood on top of the Blaenau Ffestiniog Footbridge above Stesion Fain. This was the extremity of the track leased to the quarries, note how the mainline below the junction has been broken as a protection against runaways. Dorfil Road Bridge is in the distance next to Market Hall.
