Merddin Emrys at Duffws, 11 June 1925. Note the point indicator, left distant with Queen's Bridge behind. The covered van beside it at the entrance to the yard is unusual. It clearly used to be a large open 4-ton waggon. However unlike other conversions, it has not had its sides raised but has had a high arc roof added by fitting angle iron hoops covered with plain galvanised sheets. The doors have been remade to suit the new profile. Referred to as non-extended rear door van. Evidence of locomotives ashing out on the left.
