Princess shunting at Duffws Station, 5 September 1906. The locomotive, turned to face downhill, is drawing slate waggons from the Rhiwbach sidings (which curve away to the left towards No. 1 Dolgaregddu Incline).

In the platform road is the back portion of the quarrymen's train. This might form the midweek working (the full train only running Monday and Saturday). It comprises a mk3 quarrymen's carriage, Ashbury No. 22, and Curly Roofed Van No. 1 with Ashbury 4-wheelers stabled at the far end of the station, including 1st class No. 10 & No. 14.

To the left of Princess are a pair of wooden 1-ton general purpose waggons (loaded with coal) and an iron 3-ton coal waggon. Loaded wooden bolster waggons, wooden 2-ton & 4-ton coal waggons, and gunpowder vans in the distance. Votty & Bowydd incline in background. Note the luggage and goods carts on the station platform.
