Blaenau Ffestiniog Footbridge above Stesion Fain, 14 September 1950. It provided access from North Western Road (running between the FR and LNWR on the right) over the railway into the back of Benarview Terrace. Above this bridge behind the photographer the route was still in use under lease to transport slate from Duffws onto the standard-gauge. The main line had been neatly disconnected and slewed a few inches to prevent runaways heading off down towards Glan y Pwll. Stesion Fain can be seen in the distance.
