Penrhyn Quarry Railway near Pont y Marchogion, Bangor circa 1964. This was taken shortly before the bridge was demolished as part of the widening of the A5 Road (passing overhead). Maesgeirchen and the Afon Cegin are out of shot on the left. The standard-gauge line to Port Penrhyn passes underneath the same road just out of shot on the right. The standard-gauge bridge was replaced in ferro-concrete, but has never had a train pass through it.
