File metadata
Taliesin (II) on a lengthy Up passenger train at Stesion Fain, circa 1934 - 1935. Mechanical draincocks fitted 1934, whilst the dolly for the vacuum pipe moves to the right on photos of 1935, so this dates the scene before August 1935. This was taken moments after iBase 1621.
Carriages in the formation include Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages Nos 4, 5, 12, probably ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriage No. 23 in FR ownership, Bowsider No. 19 or 20, Ashbury No. 22, at least another two carriages hidden from sight by the water tank, and Brown Marshalls Van No. 5. The fireman is Tom Davies.
